Hanna Traynham creates ceramics that dance between control and collapse.  Hanna uses traditional wood and soda-firing techniques. Her work often features intricate "pierced" carvings and surfaces transformed by the volatile atmosphere of the kiln, making each soda-fired votive and vessel a one-of-a-kind.
